PS Prof Hamadi Boga officially launched The Agri Nutrition curricula – Kenya school of Agriculture during the 3rd National Agri-Nutrition Conference at the Safari Park hotel yesterday.
The PS also addressed delegates and said the Government has prioritized nutrition in its national policies as well as in the Big Four Agenda, which reflects its commitment to ensuring 100% food and nutrition security. To share experiences and accelerate progress towards attainment of food and nutrition security goals, the Ministry (MOALF) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health is holding the Third Agri-Nutrition Conference on September 24th to 26th at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. The conference theme is: “Enhancing Multisectoral Agri-Nutrition Approaches for Improved Nutrition Outcomes.” Other principal guests will include key representatives from USAID and other partners, County Executives from the 47 counties, civil society leaders and representatives of actors, international and national NGOs, research and academic institutions, and key stakeholders from different sector. Over 400 delegates are attending.
