Question We used to have agricultural extension officers who went to the villages training locals on the best agricultural methods to apply in their farms depending on the conditions they are in. are they still operational? I dont see them in my area. Answer We have extension agents upto the divisional level. The approach to extension is currently through organised and focused groups. The author should liase with the nearest divisional offices of the ministry and will be attended to. We can avail contacts of our offices if the author can telll us where he/she is based. We advise interested parties to visit the nearest District Agriculture Office where you will find Subject Matter Specialists who will advise on your key area of interest.
