Kenya, Zambia agree to ease trade between them

Kenya and Zambia on July 4, 2017, signed an agreement aimed at reducing trade barriers which hindered free flow of agricultural goods and other basic commodities into the two countries.

The agreement was signed in Nairobi by Kenya’s Agriculture, Livestock & Fisheries Cabinet Secretary Mr. Willy Bett and Zambia’s Agriculture Minister Ms. Dora Siliya.

The pact advocates the removal of unnecessary tarriffs and introduction of fast lanes in the two friendly countres’ ports in order to facilitate movement of goods into each other.
