CS Hon Peter Munya flags off 42 double cabin vehicles to support the implementation of NARIG.

CS Hon Peter Munya has assured Kenyans that the Ministry in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic will ensure that all necessary facilitation and support is provided to farmers to enable farming activities to continue for food and nutrition security, keeping in mind the safety and health of the farmers.
Flagging of 42 double cabin vehicles to support the implementation of the National Agricultural and rural inclusion growth project(NARIG) in 21 selected counties the CS said the NARIG project will contribute towards the realization of the goals and aspirations of attaining 100% food and nutrition security under the big 4 Agenda of the Government.
The NARIG project objective is to increase agricultural productivity and profitability of the targeted rural communities in the selected 21 counties. It is a five-year project funded to the tune of 219 million US dollars by the World bank.
