CAS, Crops Development, Research and Cooperatives, Ann Nyaga is at the 43rd  IFAD ‬Governing council -2020 meeting in Italy, Rome. The main point of deliberation by council members is how best to  invest in sustainable food systems so as to end hunger by 2030.
The members also advocate for food production systems that “adopt a one health approach and address all factors affecting food safety, sustainable utilization  of natural resources (land,water and the ecosystem service), children youth and women.  The aim is to increase incomes, create wealth, support sustainable livelihoods  and also be able to avail wholesome, nutritious food  for active lives and overall well-being”.
