CS Mwangi Kiunjuri meets a team from African Development Bank

Today CS Mwangi Kiunjuri met a team from African Development Bank led by the Special Advisor to AFDB President, Prof. Oyebanji Oyeyinka, to discuss the Bank’s support to key agricultural areas in the country which include: increased crop productivity, need for facilitation to private investment, post harvest value addition & market linkages and a policy enabling environment. The support aims at improving livelihoods through agricultural projects.

National Maizetaskforce conducting public participation

The Gvt will fully support the National MaizeTask Force to collect views and finalize its report on revitalizing the grain sector, CAS Andrew Tuimur said in Kapsabet today. The Task Force is currently conducting public participation meetings to get views from stakeholders in key maize producing counties.
