The Government will increase land under rice in Mwea Irrigation Scheme by 10,000 acres as a strategy to boost rice production in the country, Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri said today. To achieve this, the Government will build dams and improve roads and other infrastructure in the area, he said.
