CS Peter Munya held discussions this afternoon, with Swiss delegation led by Ambassador Thomas Jemmi, deputy Director General Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (PSVO). Their engagement focused on identifying areas of collaboration and support to strengthen food safety control system in Kenya. He was joined by CAS Madam Ann Nyaga and PS Harry Kimtai.

CS Peter Munya officially opened The National Agriculture Summit this morning at the Safari Park Hotel. The two day summit themed “Building Partnerships for the Transformation, Growth and Competitiveness of the Agriculture Sector in Kenya”, has been organised by KEPSA, KNCCI, the Business Advocacy Fund with the support of the Ministry and other stakeholders in the Agriculture sector. During the summit, he also presided over the Launch of the Agriculture Sector Network (ASNET) and the SDG Partnership Platform Window on SDG2. He was joined by CAS Ms Ann Nyaga, PS Fisheries Prof. Micheni Ntiba and Dr. Chris Kirubi.
